Today it was a disapointment to wake up to rain! It froze during the night of course so the roads were like sheer ice! Needless to say the buses were cancelled! Since I was suppose to have 445 students walk over to the library for a visit but the weather kiboshed that. I've had to reschedule for next Tues. It wouldn't be fair to have only 50 kids show when I have enough books for 433 kids. I'm not expecting them all to attend school on the same day! It is the cold and flu season after all.
Tonights festivities still have not been cancelled so I hope some people will brave the ice and stop in for snacks and games. It is Family Literacy Day and I have teamed up with the Wabasca Parent link to have games set up of all sorts. Anyone want to play Monopoly with me? lol I have 3 versions! Everything starts at 6 and ends at 8!
